Saturday 17 May 2025 {HMC} The killing of the Commander of the 26th Brigade, 27th Division of the Somali National Army, Major General Abdirahman Salad Xujale, was said to be committed by a soldier of the army he commanded.
The killing of the Commander in fought in the areas of Mabah area in the Moqokori District of the Hiran region while government forces clashed with Al-Shabaab.
The official reasons for the killing of the Commander, and whether the killing had the motive of a conspiracy, is unknown, and was reported that the Commander was hit with the bullet from heavy weapons in the combat vehicle.
On the other hand, the soldier who killed the Commander of the 26th Brigade, 27th Division of the Somali National Army, Major General Abdirahman Salad Xujale, and accompanying other soldiers, have been arrested.
