The commander of the Birjeh Army in Mudug Region, who left the battle in Laas-Aanod, Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Abdillahi Hersi Tahliil, said that the Somaliland forces attacked the bases of the SSC forces, and in the fight they fought with, they burned vehicles.
The officer said that after the attack, they distributed a number of artillery shells to the city of Las-Aanood, some of which caused serious damage to the administrative center of the city of Las-Aanood, threatening that they will win.
Reports received by Risala from the fighting areas say that there is a loss of death and injuries on both sides of the war and a loss of injuries as a result of the mortars of the Somaliland forces hitting Las-Aanood town.
