Friday 30 Jan 2026 {HMC} Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Ali , held a bilateral meeting today in New Delhi with H.E. Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India.
The discussions focused on strengthening Somalia-India relations and expanding cooperation in trade, education, and health.
The Minister expressed Somalia’s appreciation for India’s continued support for Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial intergrity.
Both sides agreed to sustain close engagement and advance practical follow-up steps that translate this partnership into tangible outcomes.
