Sunday 9,Nov 2025 {HMC} Today in Mogadishu, the Deputy SRCC Ambassador Mouktar Osman Karie met with Ambassador Aweys Haji Yusuf, National Security Adviser, at the Villa Somalia.
The discussions focused on the security situation in Somalia, AUSSOM’s funding and staffing, and the upcoming project to support the Somali Police Force.
This was a follow up of the November 4th meeting between the SRCC and the NSA, where both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing the Somali-led peace and security process and strengthening cooperation in implementing AUSSOM’s mandate.
