Wednesday 24 Sep 2025 {HMC} The Federal Government of Somalia has recently issued a press release regarding the clash that took place today in Mogadishu between government forces and opposition security forces in front of the Warta Nabadda police station.
A press release issued by the Somali Ministry of Information strongly accused opposition politicians and their forces of attempting to seize the Warta Nabadda police station in Mogadishu.
“The government condemns the acts against the security of the capital carried out by political elements who attempted to seize the Warta Nabadda police station in Mogadishu,” the press release issued by the Somali government said.
The Federal Government also said that the opposition members are responsible for the clash that took place today in front of the Warta Nabadda police station.
“The Somali government declares that what happened today at the Warta Nabadda district base is the responsibility of the members who blatantly violated the existence of the state, security, order and laws of the country,” the government statement said.
Finally, the Federal Government has warned opposition politicians and anyone who disrupts the general security of the country’s capital, Mogadishu.
