Arbaco 11 Feb 2026 {HMC} His Excellency Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr Abdisalam Ali has arrived in Addis Ababa to participate in the 39th African Union Summits and related ministerial sessions, scheduled to kick off tomorrow at the AU headquarters.
On the sidelines of the summit, the minister will hold bilateral meetings with his African counterparts and partners, aimed at strengthening Somalia’s priorities in the areas of peace and security, regional cooperation, and sustainable development.
This year’s African Union Summit is held under the slogan “Ensuring sustainable water and safe sanitation systems to achieve Agenda 2063 goals”, highlighting water security and sanitation as key drivers of strengthening Africa’s resilience and prosperity.
