Thursday Dec 25, 2025 {HMC} President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye met with Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Chairman General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, marking a continuation of high-level diplomatic engagement between the two countries. The meeting took place as part of al-Burhan’s official visit to Türkiye, which was extended at the invitation of President Erdoğan to discuss deepening bilateral relations and cooperation on shared regional challenges.
Topics on the agenda included strengthening economic ties, enhancing political dialogue, and addressing the ongoing humanitarian situation in Sudan amidst its internal conflict.
