On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, H.E. Mohamed Abdi Ware, IGAD Deputy Executive Secretary, joined a high level panel discussion on mediation in the Horn of Africa alongside senior regional and international leaders, as well as leading peace and conflict resolution scholars.
The discussion highlighted the role of Türkiye in mediation efforts, particularly between Ethiopia and Somalia, and underscored the urgent need for stronger coordination among competing mediation initiatives in Sudan.
